Art Alchemy Workshops in Lowell

January 4, 2018

One of the problems with self-development is that it can sometimes just be...not...fun. Not that everything has to be fun, but when you're opening the hood and digging into your own machinery, a little levity can go a long way. And most of us don't invest any time in maintenance. Working on yourself isn't just about fixing problems or getting a tune-up; it's about having a good time on the ride.

This year, I'm focusing more on art and creativity, and helping you have a good time while building connections with yourself and others. I'm offering a series of Art Alchemy workshops in my studio at Western Avenue in Lowell, in which I'll walk you through creating a personal piece of art that incorporates self-development. The idea is kind of like a painting party, with a specific template, but everyone gets to make something that will end up totally tailored to them. I'm basing these projects off of Tamara Laporte's wonderful Life Book project, particularly her new book.

I will offer one workshop per month, scheduled for several times so that hopefully one will be convenient for your schedule. All materials will be provided, including a snack and drink. This is a lot of fun to do with friends!
